I recently crossed paths with a beautiful diagram and sun salutation (Surya Namaskar). So I thought I’d share a little secret to help get you going in the mornings. . . my morning routine usually evolves losing the battle with the alarm clock, rolling out of bed and heading to the back door to let the dog (and cats if they’ve chosen to grace us with their presence) outside. I then head to the kitchen to boil water for lemon water, coffee or tea depending on the mood. Often while I am waiting for the water to boil and the dog to bark to be let back in I start my day out with one or several sun salutation’s in the comfort of the kitchen. One thing I truly love about yoga, it is an anytime, anyplace type of activity. No need to change from your pajamas.
